In 2014, Joshua Andrew Graham took his own life after stating, “I am not Worth It.” After a long year of struggles with mental health, financial loss, personal loss, and loss of physical ability, Josh was experiencing hopelessness. The pain that comes with the loss of a loved one by Suicide is unbearable. Many elements contribute to an individual feeling hopeless and worthless. Financial status, mental health, physical difficulty, substance abuse, personal relationships with family, friends, and significant others are all contributing factors as well as others. Worth It was created out of a tragedy that could have been prevented by intervention, education, and resources. Worth It became a movement in 2016. The warriors that work alongside us are, our Worth It family. We strive to maintain communication with individuals who have been helped by Worth It. Our continued commitment positively impacts the growth of our family, wellness of individuals, and establishes lifelines.
